Combining 15+ years of experience with an innovative curriculum, Your Big Year® builds brighter futures for young Canadians.
After a successful pilot program in Winnipeg, Your Big Year® is expanding across Canada to provide more young people with the skills and experience needed to succeed in today's workforce. This dynamic program bridges the gap between school and work through interactive training, industry engagement, and hands-on learning opportunities that prepare youth for their future careers.
It will continue with on-site workshops in each city, providing two days of career-ready skills, cultural understanding, and confidence building for a few hundred local youth, including Indigenous and underserved communities.
The program begins with a virtual Industry Think Tank in February 2025, bringing together youth and businesses from Winnipeg, Regina, Thunder Bay, and Moncton to discuss workforce trends, career paths, and opportunities.
This is an incredible opportunity for young people to build the skills needed for today's workforce, and for companies to help shape the future of work! We'd love for you to get involved! Whether you’re an institution, a youth organization or a business owner, just fill out this FORM and we'll get back to you! Or feel free to contact us at info@yourbigyear.com.
