National Social Entrepreneurship Forum (NSEF) is a unique youth-focused Non-Profit organization which promotes Social Entrepreneurship among the youth across Institutes of higher learning in India to help them become change-makers. NSEF connects youth, academic institutes and social enterprises to create social entrepreneurship eco-system. NSEF facilitates mentoring, guidance, immersion experiences and opportunities in diverse fields like Education, Pollution, Health care, Energy etc. NSEF has 3 centers at top management and technology institutes in India and aims to establish chapters in many more universities. This year NSEF provided internships to 25 students in top Indian social business enterprises and plans to offer minimum ten fellowships which would facilitate start-up ventures. These numbers will increase over years. To meet expenses of starting and running these centers and to achieve our goals, we need financial support. The funds collected on our behalf by YBY global event will play a pivotal role in achievement of our goals. NSEF is certain that a model similar to “institute-NSEF-social enterprise” partnership can be successfully replicated all over the world for empowering youth to drive change in their countries.
