Smaller Earth is the organisation behind this official event of Global Entrepreneurship Week. We are excited for our final in November and to have 24 internationals in the city of Liverpool.
Your mission in Pitch Your Place is to produce a video selling the merits of YOUR home city or town! It will then be your aim to gain support from your network and get as many votes as possible.
Please make a note of the following key dates:
19th SEPTEMBER 2010 at 23:39 GMT: By this time and date you must have posted your video to YouTube and submitted your embedded code on Your Big Year profile.
20th SEPTEMBER 2010 TILL 29th SEPTEMBER 2010: We will upload your videos to Facebook, it is then your job to gather as many people as possible to view and vote for your video on the poll, voting will close 17:00 GMT and votes will be verified by the Your Big Year team. The winners will be the two videos with the most 'likes' on OUR facebook page, and a third person whose video is seleted by our judges!
