How many people must YOU get to register with Your Big Year to win a place in the final?
A thousand? No.
Five hundred? No.
126? Bingo!
As it currently stands, you only have to tell 126 people about this amazing competition to reach the final.
The top six referrers will all make the finals week, and the man currently in sixth place is Todd Walters, from Massachusetts, USA.
Now, we like Todd. Check out his Q&A session below and you’ll like him too. He’s a good guy with an amazing job.
But we don’t play favourites at Your Big Year. If you beat Todd – or anyone else – to become a top six referrer, then YOU win a place in the final.
Only 24 people will make the final, which takes place over a week in Liverpool (travel and accommodation expenses paid by us) this November. And two of those 24 will win the global trip,
So what are you waiting for? Do whatever you can to refer people to register: ask your friends, family and workmates; use your local media; post messages on Facebook and Twitter; pin a notice on the canteen wall; or just stand on a street corner and holler!
The referrals race closes on October 10th, so you still have time to compete.

If you make it to the finals week in Liverpool, what landmark would you most like to see? St. John's Beacon (Radio City) for the views of the city
If you win the global trip, which country would you most like to visit? Sierra Leone and Liberia - home to the world’s newest International Peace Park, dedicated just last year.
What three things would you miss the most about your home country? Family, Friends and Girlfriend - I love to travel, it's the people that always pull me back home.
Which is your favourite charity on the Your Big Your website, and why? International Peace Park Expeditions - this is my lifelong dream turned into reality. We run experiential peacebuilding expeditions for youth impacted by conflict in International Peace Parks around the world, starting first in the proposed Balkans Peace Park, between Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro.
I hope to win the Your Big Year contest and travel the world visiting International Peace Parks on each continent, meeting with the political leaders, environmentalists, and peace activists who brought them into reality, and developing a global network to expand our programs around the world.
I look at this opportunity as a springboard for this dream to bring innovative experiential peace-building programs to youth impacted by conflict around the world.
